An archive, not a family album.
The template imposes three things on every item: a date, a provenance, and the ability to say you do not know. Those constraints are the product.
The rest is ready: lineage, timeline, gallery with lightbox, referenced documents, stories, bibliography, bilingual, citations, sitemap, index for AI agents.
What people ask first.
Did this family exist?
No. The Delormes are invented, and so are the items cited with them. This demonstrates the template; it is not a real archive. The visuals are drawn, never photographed.
What do you need to build your own archive?
Your scans and what you know about them: a date, a place, a provenance. That is what holds an archive together. The rest is layout, and it is already done.
What if a date is uncertain?
You write it down. « About 1905 » beats a wrong 1905, and « originally uncaptioned » beats an invented caption. The template makes room for those notes on every item.
Can the archive be bilingual?
Yes. This demonstration is: every page exists in French and English, each with its own URL.
